Since July 16, 2014, he voluntarily joined the terrorist organization "LNR" in the "Vityaz" unit, where he held the position of grenade launcher assistant and also made trips to the areas of the village of Zhovte and the city of Severodonetsk in the Luhansk region, where he patrolled the adjacent territory. In addition, in March 2022, he had at least three meetings in Moscow with two unidentified individuals from the Head Office of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, during which these individuals proposed active participation in providing comprehensive assistance in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine for monetary reward. Moreover, he conceived the idea of organizing and involving another participant in committing premeditated murder through bribery for selfish motives, recruiting Sokolov O.O. (a person who agreed to cooperate with the pre-trial investigation authorities of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU)) for the crime. He transferred funds to Sokolov O.O. for the simulated murder of citizen Antoniuk O.M. However, at the border in the city of Kovel in the Volyn region, he was detained by SSU officers.
